...So 2007 was cool

It's been quite a while since we did any kind of bloggage - 2007's been quite a year!

We've had so many great bands in we've lost count. A few highlights have definitely been:

- Jack Peachey coming back with his band Gallery47, spending a mammoth week recording their Logic3 Starfighter single. A bunch of drum setups, crazy, hell-keyboards, 50 guitar parts and enough material for four songs all went in to one 6-minute epic.

- The gorgeous and talented Jayde Morrison has been working on and off on her new EP. Great things with odd timings and violin-bowed-guitar have been going on.

- Seretone impressed us all, recording their Glow EP just prior to their first US tour and it's a killer. So much so, in fact that one of the tracks was used on a DVD about The Killers. How much more Killer can you get? None more.

- We couldn't talk about the last year without mentioning Patchwork Grace. We spent the best part of the summer on their album Milk Teeth and we think it's stunning. Sure, we recorded it so we should think that. Just go listen and see for yourselves. myspace.com/pwg.

Here's to 2008 being even better than last year. We'd really like to record you, so get in touch.

Lions and tigers and fish sticks - oh my!

Hoorays and huzzahs for our spangly new website! Whoever said that cutting edge analogue-digital recording studios and olde-timey, slightly wild-west design themes don't go together?

As well as the sparkly redesign, we've added a whole rafter of new features, including this blog to keep you sporadically updated on the studios achievements, innovations and explosions. We also have a brand-new audio section so you can listen to the latest sounds to come wafting through our doors and a handy Price Calculator to help you work out exactly what you can do with all of that Christmas money.

So go ahead - take a look, play around, and get in touch. We're hanging on the telephone, and way cooler than Blondie.
